$1,000Contest:New Voting System

I have decided to change the voting system for the $1,000 contest, to make it significantly more fair and balanced. Basically the other voting system of "The fans voting" has a major flaw. Artistic ability falls underneath popularity this way. The most well known artist is going to beat the most deserving artist almost every time this way. Or as a friend called it. It's like a race between two people. Racer #2 wins the race, but Racer #1 gets the medal for being more popular.

So the new voting system shall be done via a small committee  of judges. Not all the judges have been selected quite yet. But no worries, two months is far more than enough time to find more. I also shall be one of the judges. However, this will not effect the $100 Favorite Picture prize. That prize is rewarded, basically by the picture that makes me go "Squeee~" the most.

As for voting. The votes shall be more complex than simply Judge A and B vote for this one and Judge C votes for this one. The judging shall be through a small list of criterias and each criteria will have a scale of 1-5.

For example say "secret criteria" will be one of the criterias. We will then judge how "secret criteria" the picture is on a scale of 1-5. Then through the other criterias we will tally up the votes and see who scores the highest. For example

Criteria #1:  Judge A: 3/5 Judge B: 4/5 Judge C: 3/5 ( Total 10/15 )
Criteria #2:  Judge A: 3/5 Judge B: 3/5 Judge C: 2/5 ( Total 8/15 )
Criteria #3:  Judge A: 4/5 Judge B: 5/5 Judge C: 4/5 ( Total 13/15 )
Criteria #4:  Judge A: 1/5 Judge B: 1/5  Judge C: 5/5 ( Total 7/15 )
Criteria #5:  Judge A: 2/5 Judge B: 5/5 Judge C: 4/5 ( Total 11/15 )

Max Total: 49/75

Also, I have said "Secret Criteria" because that is exactly what it, and all of them, will be! Just so people won't draw their images specifically to mimic the different criterias. No worries however. The criterias shall be very common. I won't trick anyone with cheap criterias like "Most amount of Yumes screen time" or something like "Most use of the color green" It is my hope that this significantly helps to balance the playing field for everyone.


Also, while this is the current idea. If anyone can supply me with a better idea for voting, please let me know! I want the fairest and most balanced system for this contest.
